He did, now he gonna find himself unconscious.
Julius just threw away his tiny self respect.
Didn't have respect to begin with
Didn't know he had any respect to begin with
can't throw out what you don't have
His self respect is worth s**t, meaning he dumps his head down a s**t filled toilet to get some of it back, hence he DOES have some s**tty self respect😌
so much poop in a sentence.. :(
And in his mouth as well I guess.
julius the fecal fiddler
Ahh yes. I just noticed that pfp! Man of culture I see I see.
Love to see my fellow MKSW people!
What's this MKSW that you speak of?
Wait, wait, he had respect before!?
He doesn't deserve such a grandiose name like "Julius"
that's just how people react when they in the wrong ^^
Yeah it was great seeing Souma speak down to him like that.
He is the ancestor of the typical modern day KAREN.
lol arguements with karens are not hard to win anyways.
He literally went up and asked for his land doesn't he feel any shame at all.
A true shameless act befitting one such as himself
The moment he drew his sword... there's no hope for him hahaha
This scene makes me really like Souma's character.
In this anime, everyone (usually the villains) are retards or illiterate, with the exception of the protagonist Soma. The prince Juluis is not the exception of the rule.
There are no good politicians, businessmen, scientists or even charlatans with the exception of the MC and company, which lowers even my low expectation of this isekai.
Well, I criticized the 1st season, and obviously I will also criticize this one ... as long as I don't get bored and prefer to watch other shows.
There's a Steve Jobs quote "A level people hire level A people, B level people hire C level people".
Smart people tend to recognize other smart people and congregate together because it's a whole lot easier to do that and accelerate their work than fight each other and ultimately accomplish nothing.
This Isekai kinda reminds me of that old anime MaoYu, which had a similar premise and narrative structure, which is essentially basic narrative as framing device to enact statecraft use cases as opposed to classic story beats.
TL;DR this isn't an isekai anime, this is a visual guide to Machiavelli's The Prince with waifus, and whether or not you like this anime depends entirely on if that sentence sounds appealing to you.
I mean just look at the world today. The powers that be have been keeping people informed but only on the things they want them to know so everybody believes they are intelligent but really don't know anything of sustance. And anybody who tries to educate and uplift their people the powers that be try to take out.
If you read China's history, then you will see this happens all the time as one of the main causes of downfall for the Dynasty.
The logic is simple, stupid rulers don't want people below them to be smarter than them, to have more merit, more reputation and more popular than them.
That's why there are many famous generals in China often get kill by the Emperors because of gossip simply because they are too famous.
Julias should show you the rotten aspect as well. They can't allows people be smarter than them to exist since it would threaten theirs rules.
Nah the demon Lord and the final villain is quite smart actually, the final part of the Wn (Wn got split into three part), is quite intense, souma basically had to deal with the equivalent of gengkhis/napoleon if this world
Good thing he's channeling the vibes of Imperial China. The way he does things is better than any Napoleon or Khan. Napoleon ended up making way too many enemies which is never a good strategy no matter how amazing he is at war.
Loved to see it all completed in this Amine (not in one season though)
He literally lost his own respect for others opinion when himself doesn't realise that he was part of Gaius (His father's) plan.
What's annoying guy and pain the arse.
It's not that he did not realised but he just acted ignorant and played victim. You might find it ridiculous but this happens in the real world politics also. Politicians play this card to their own gains all the time.
Pushing all the blame on the dead is also a common tactic. If I'm not wrong, Julius even was the one who instilled this to his son himself.
It's not that, in the manga Gallius last fight is a bit longer and before that he asked Julius to sollicit Gran Chaos for negociations about Van and ask him to totally put all the blame on him, his father the previous king. But he as totally aware, it's just that country population and even the royalty ( except Roroa) is totally condition to hate the eighbour country about some lost territory 300 years ago ... ( TBH, It was the same in our world, for example, France and Germany fought several times for some territory between the two, Alsace and Loraine, so in a way it's not ununderstandable, even if it's stupid ...)
let's just let him buy it back. one pound of gold for each brick. the population's weight in flour and meat, and just as fair a price for .. the rest. xD
I think Souma's way of speaking has rubbed of on you Judgement... Anyways, I'd say extra things but Souma has done well in doing so.
Julius, as much sympathy I have for the guy enjoying his circumstances, he is not fit to be a ruler at all, nor does he have the capabilities or even the makings of one, and though he says that his Father, Gaius, made an arbitrary decision to invade Elfrieden, Gaius made plans and thoroughly used whatever card he held and whatever weakness' Elfrieden had to gain advantage, it's just too bad Souma wasn't playing around.
Julius is utterly pathetic. How shameless must he be to demand his land back with such an arrogant attitude when his family started, and lost the war? It was satisfying seeing Souma put him in his place.
